Our Philosophy.
Flourishing doesn’t come from isolated efforts—it is cultivated through the integration of purpose-driven habits. Yet in today’s wellness landscape, care remains fragmented. Most individuals aren’t trained and lack the time to research, design, and implement a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to well-being. They then face a dilemma: either juggle multiple professionals (trainer, therapist, nutritionist, coach) or neglect essential aspects of their well-being.
At Eudaimonic, we offer a different path. We seek to provide a personalized, whole-person approach that supports growth along essential dimensions of well-being—physical, intellectual, and emotional.
Our mission is simple: to support your pursuit of eudaimonia—a life lived in accordance with its highest potential.
ABOUT ME
I am Jeremy Jacobson, an NASM-certified personal trainer and certified nutrition coach, and I approach fitness with a background rarely found in the gym: I have degrees in Psychological & Brain Sciences and Philosophy, with research expertise on the building blocks of human flourishing.
I understand that most people work out to feel better. For some, it’s the post-workout clarity; for others, the confidence that comes from growing stronger and the sense of purpose of pursing tangible goals. It might be improving health or regaining one’s capacity to enjoy everyday activities—or simply liking what you see in the mirror.
Whatever the motive, physical training is far more than “fitness.” It’s one of the most powerful, yet underused, tools for psychological well-being.
My training style is grounded in the empirical sciences of well-being and exercise, alongside philosophical insight. From studies showing which exercises regiments promote well-being better than anti-depressants and talk-therapy, to Socrates’ statement that one shouldn’t grow old without witnessing the strength and beauty they can achieve, I draw on modern evidence and ancient wisdom in my approach to training.
My passion and guiding principle is simple: promoting the flourishing of those who choose to invest in it.
As a teenager, training became a source of clarity and purpose—something I could continually progress through while building fortitude and discipline. Since then, I’ve spent nearly a decade studying the sciences of well-being and exercise. Today, personal training gives me a way to channel this knowledge into real-world outcomes, working side-by-side with clients who seek greater strength and ability—both physical and mental.
